The
name esthetician comes from the Greek "aisthetikos" and the Latin
"aesthetica," a branch of philosophy relating to the nature and
forms of beauty. In recent years, the public has grown more aware
and more interested in the health and beauty of their skin than
ever before. Skin care salons and new beauty services have cropped
up to satisfy the public's rising interest; and as the demand for
these services soar, so does the demand for qualified skin care
specialists. A graduate of the
Advanced Esthetician program can be an
entrepreneur of his/her own business or employed as a specialist
in skin care and skin care products in the private or public
sector. Click to view
