Cosmetology Course of study is designed to prepare students for
the CA State licensing examination and
for profitable employment. The knowledge and skills will prepare

cutting, hair colorist, manicures,

Manicuring all these courses
require state board license. The syllabus, curriculum of the
courses base on require or approval form the “Bureau For
Postsecondary And Vocational Education of State of California.”
Each course has two parts : Technical instruction and Practical
operation. The technical instruction is demonstration, lecture,
classroom , participation and examination. The practical operation
is the actual performance by student on another person or
mannequin.
Cosmetology total instruction hours consists of sixteen hundred
(1,600 hours), which student has to
completed 450 hours of technical instruction, 850 hours of
practical operation and 300 hours of practicum (practice on the
person ). |
